HOBGI’s 117th annual Grand Nest Convention will be held in the beautiful resort town of Whistler, BC (Canada) – site of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Whistler has been voted one of the top destinations in North America year-over-year since the mid-90’s.
Join us at the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa for fun and fellowship! One of the highlights of the event will be a gondola ride to the top of Whistler Mountain and an awards luncheon at the Round House Lodge at the summit.

2022 Christmas Social
The Virginia Pond’s annual Christmas Social will be held Wednesday, December 14. Family members and guests are welcome!
Details: This event will be held from 6-8:30 pm at the American Legion Post 244, located at 2522 Indale Rd. in Glen Allen, VA. The cost is $50 when paid in advance or $55 at the door, and includes dinner (catered by Maribelles), beverages (wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee), and lots of fellowship.
December Charity – As is our holiday tradition, attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the USO center at the Richmond Int’l Airport. The USO provides hospitality to thousands of troops and their families during the holiday season. Needs include individual size snacks and beverages, travel size toiletries, and cash/gift cards. Prize raffle tickets will also be sold at this event with all proceeds going to the USO. Raffle prize donations are welcome!

October 19 Piggin’ & Jiggin’ Recap
The Virginia Pond’s 12th annual October fundraising event was held Wednesday, October 19. This year, we switched things up and moved the event to Extra Billy’s Smokehouse and Brewery in Midlothian, VA. Proceeds still benefitted Comfort Zone Camp (CZC), a safe place for grieving kids. Live music was provided by Barefoot Joe, who is no doubt soon to be a Nashville star. It was a great evening!

August 17 Social at Midnight Brewery
The Virginia Pond is happy to be hosting its annual Summer Social on Wednesday, August 17 at Midnight Brewery in Rockville, VA. Family members and industry guests are invited to this event!
Midnight Brewery is located at 2410 Granite Ridge Road in the Rockville Commerce Industrial Center off Ashland Rd. – just minutes from Short Pump. The large indoor and outdoor spaces will allow for fellowship at a comfortable social distance.
The social officially starts at 5:30. The cost is $30/pp when paid in advance or $35/pp at the door. Included are 2 craft beverages of choice and an entrée from the El Guapo food truck.
